Proposed changes to the Euston Area Plan published for reviewComments Off on Proposed changes to the Euston Area Plan published for review
Following the submission of the Proposed Submission Euston Area Plan (published for comment between January and March 2014) to the Government for independent Examination in April and the Euston Area Plan Examination Hearings held in July, we have prepared proposed changes to the Euston Area Plan to reflect discussions at the hearings and in response to formal representations made on the Proposed Submission Euston Area Plan.
The changes, known as Proposed Modifications, are set out in schedules and divided into Main Modifications and Minor Modifications. The proposed modifications are also available to view as a “track changes” version of the Euston Area Plan to show how the Plan would read if all the changes are made. We are seeking views on the Main Modifications only, and not on the plan as a whole. Comments on other aspects of the Plan have already been considered during the examination process and the Inspector will not be able to take them into account at this stage. This is a formal stage of the examination process, so is governed by planning regulations.
The documents have been published for review today, 8 September. The deadline for comments is 5pm on 20 October. You can view all the relevant documents and find out more details about how people can comment on our website.
Following the closure of the consultation period, the Inspector will consider all the comments made on the Main Modifications in writing his report, which will hopefully be made available in late November.
